Collagen Cacao Latte

As much as I love my morning matcha latte, sometimes I find myself waking up and craving something more indulgent and sweet like this cacao latte, especially in the colder months. Most standard hot chocolates are full of processed dairy, sugar and unnecessary additives. This latte brings you all the flavor and comfort of a normal hot chocolate, but all the health benefits that real cacao gives when you leave out all the bad additives.

Cacao is a true superfood, packed with iron, antioxidants, not to mention it can improve mood and boost concentration. Other than the pure flavor of this latte, these benefits are reason enough to incorporate this into your morning routine, or even a cozy evening.

Ingredients

- 1 cup almond milk

- 1 scoop grass fed collagen

- 1 tbsp fermented cacao powder

- 1 tbsp honey

- sprinkle cinnamon

Directions

- In a milk frother, add your almond milk, collagen, cacao and honey. Simply let it all mix and froth together. If you don’t have a milk frother, you can do this by adding all ingredients into a pot on low to medium heat and stirring with a whisk. Pour into a mug, sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
